- Symantec AntiVirus Research Center (S.A.R.C.) From the makers of "Norton AntiVirus" comes one of the best AntiVirus web sites in the world. Check this site frequently for virus information.
- From the makers of the original "VirusScan" comes McAfee's Virus Information Library (V.I.L.) which provides wonderful support to SARC.
- From the makers of another "VirusScan" comes another useful Virus Information Center.
- Are those email virus rumors true? Check the known virus hoaxes here for up to date information BEFORE you forward it to everyone.
- Computer Incident Advisory Capability (C.I.A.C.) Another good resource for virus hoaxes.
- One of our favorite virus hoax sites. Combines great information with humor.
- "The AFU & Urban Legends Archive" is just what it says... a VAST archive of every urban legend imaginable . They explain themselves in great detail on the page as well. Very entertaining and educational for all.
There is also a PART II which goes even further to cover the recent stipulations of uninformed ICQ users. Don't be one of them, visit the page.
- The original "Lies, Damn Lies & ICQ Messages" page. If you have ICQ, then you have gotten those "forward this or you will be deleted!" messages. Please! Like Mirabilis actually cares if you forward a message. Visit this site for a humorous insight on these annoying messages. Very good source for educating yourself and others.

If you have Windows 98, then refer to these directions to either find Tweak UI on your Windows 98 CD or to download it from the site.
- Isn't it always the little things that drive you crazy? This site does an EXCELLENT job at showing you exactly how to fix the "little things" you dislike. Makes customizing your computer a snap!
- This is the exact same as the link above, except it deals with Windows 98.
- Tweak UI is what is referred to as a "power toy" from Microsoft. It allows you to play with settings without having to wade through the complicated Windows Registry. This version if for WINDOWS 95/NT ONLY!
Dll, Ocx, Vbx Files - Yet another DLL/OCX/VBX resource. This used to be THE SOURCE for all files, since it contained more than the rest combined. It has been offline/down for some time. We hope it is back up soon... keep checking!

- Ever get those "Cannot find xxx.DLL" or "xxx.OCX" errors when running certain programs? This site has the answer! Simply search for your missing file, download it, then put it in the proper directory (usually c:\windows\system) and you're set!

- This is the spot to go for Netscape Communicator Tips And Tricks. Direct from the software designers who wrote them! Don't miss this if you are a Netscape Communicator user! May help solve some minor problems associated with Netscape Communicator.
- Has on-site help available as well as phone support. They do charge, as you may have guessed by the name. (Cute isn't it?)
- Yet another site that deals with the popular Netcape browser. This is a site dedicated to answering the "Frequently Asked Questions" about all versions of Netscape. Wonderfully written, it makes it easy to use as an added bonus.
- A nice, neat little site that supplies just what you might think... Computer information. Reasonable links on site as well.
- Directly from Netscape's "Computing & Internet" section comes their "Guide to Computers and Internet." Mainly it has lots of places you can go for anything relating to computers and the Internet. Nicely designed and organized... Worth a peek.
- The most respected computer security information source on the PLANET.
- Used to be a great resource for hacking related material, but it has since turned into a vast computer security information page. Also contained are links to one of the largest searchable online information sources (on most anything) to be found. Excellent site!
- One of the leaders in computer/network security.
- A very interesting site... allows you to surf the Internet "anonymously" for FREE from it's page by going through it's proxy server. Also provides some useful links to information, as well as other Internet/computer security issues.
- An online magazine also referred to as "Security News Wire." Good reading!
- About.com not only provides an excellent search engine, but also holds a vast information vault on many topics, including Internet security. If you are serious about obtaining additional knowledge, pay them a visit! EXCELLENT CHOICE.
- "Epic.org" for short. Great source for the latest security news, including views on privacy and civil liberties. Don't forget to check out "EPIC Alert" while you are there.
